ARTIST STATEMENT:

Painting gives me an outlet for my happiness, sadness, anger, concern and fulfillment. I dont know about any other means, so I bow to this media that allows me to relief so many complicated interlinked emotions.

Each work starts as a seed of emotion in my brain, I dont know yet whats its going to grow into, how is it going to bloom, but I know its going to release me from this all encompassing emotion. Am I always successful, maybe not, but it does release my emotion and hopefully would make others to think too.

The colors and textures in my paintings vary a lot. One of the main reasons is again the emotion, because some of them are opposing and conflicting to each other. The frames and outlines are the common threads in my paintings. I have to admit the color seems to lean on the brighter side when it is expressing happiness and fulfillment. The semi-abstract form is my most favored way of expression. I enjoy that level of mystery with my audience.

The world of art started enticing me from my childhood and the journey has just begun, more I paint, and more I discover, that capturing the intricacy of emotion on canvass is a lifetime pursuit.
