The Interview
At what point in your life did you know that you wanted to become an artist? Did the realization emerge slowly?
When I wanted to become an artist while working in Manhattan upper east side. A busy day in rainy April - I think how it would be nice to enjoy Art and the busy city life. I find art to be seriously funny with sketches of a perfectionist -the power of man & women. I was about 27 with a brief concept of being an artist.. The Mischief of realized emerge slowly and is hard with having goals within the Art world -attempting to become blue collar statues or create such works comes with patience and guidance from both gallery & Artist & Advisory/ consultant .
How did you evolve your style and favorite mediums?
I evolved my style , A recent series of public talks / Focus on Mix Media design & contemporary Art, It's strategy or a practice that allows for an expanded language and expanded expression of personality.. ( New Media Avant Grade).. My favorite Medium : Oils, Pastels Crayons, Acrylic, Watercolor.. Playing with Traditional gender - bending Scenarios/ with short brush strokes & wide hand movement when applying materials..
What are your time management techniques? Do you have regular working hours...or favorite times to work?
The hours regular basis 5 +8 hours at time full time Artist .. My favorite times morning 9to5..
Do you work on more than one piece at a time, or primarily just on one?
Art is deeply personal , I do create with favorite color and then set two works in idea that how to create a theme / contrast within the next regardless of what medium selected ( religious and deeply felt, ).
What would you say is your biggest influence--that which keeps you working, regardless of all else, your most steadfast motivation?
My biggest influence / influencer: Tiziana Maggio Gallery ( www.Artsy.net).. Venturing in conversation today's Art Listing ( NFT Art 2022)/opensea.io... Also selected will be Warhol colors, Jean Bas ( concepts), Pablo Picasso, Henry .M , Helen .K , El Greco shades & pigments drawings.. what keeps me working my goals in creating my works to the Secondary Art market listing.. Creating , Dealers, the emphasis falls, more on "knowledge , judgment, & taste " & on a practical consideration such as condition ,authenticity and title, my personal motivation.
Does trying something new and not knowing the rules -- the boundary pushing -- create anxiety or excitement in you? (Or both?)
Try something new as a artist / designer is a great my works & people feedback is always welcome and remembered, I try to remember that " often a work gets more interesting over time".. One -Of-A-Kind- Piece.. awesome idea of Spot trending works or single out talents..
Do you enjoy having the "duality of both chaos and control" or are you happiest with a set plan?
With the chaos of the Art world & creating it can be hard in many ways , I believe it's the apartheid or post -apartheid era.. that allows an artist works truly to be profusely about his works.. The movements, biographical elements play a role, buzzword !! " Conceptually based practice"
Do you have any projects or events forthcoming?
