Last summer, I devoted myself to developing a series of larger and smaller abstract paintings in oil, on canvas. They were painted in my studio, open to the sights and sounds of my garden. I was thinking about color shapes and form and the way light and nature are in motion on sunny days. They are reflective of nature as it exists by my home and garden. They help me to think about the importance of enjoying moments of beauty. Best of all, I really enjoyed creating these works of art, a zen experience.
