Artistic Statement
Photography explores both urban and rural landscapes and personas and lends itself to the creative side of imaging. As an artist, I think that art is for the people and for everyone to enjoy. It can be very personal, it can be universal, but it must always come from the heart.

Biography
My first mentor in photography was my uncle, who not only gave me my original camera, but took me into NYC as often as possible to experiment with urban photography, capturing the angles and reflections of majestic buildings. Majoring in photography and spending my final semester of school in Liverpool, England gelled a passion that had been rising since those boyhood shoots. Upon completion of school, my uncle and I opened a studio where my true experimentation and artistic efforts blossomed. I worked diligently on multiple exposure images and continued to manipulate them until they were the works of my vision. The advent of digital photography made me fall in love with my craft in an even deeper sense. The limitless possibilities that digital afforded along with sophisticated editing programs opened up a new world of art to me and I've been enamored and enraptured since. From portrait and street shoots to experiments with light and color, my photography is ever evolving. My work has been displayed in galleries including The Ward Nasse Gallery, The Digital Art Center, The Times Square Lobby Gallery and in boutiques and cafes across Northern New Jersey. Many of my pieces are also on display in private collections. |
