Deconstruction and Reconstruction of the Other
The artist is always deconstructing and reconstructing. Surely this deconstruction would be of the Other - and thus the reconstruction will be more plastic but also with elements of the unexpected.
The work of the artist always brings something that is part of his life: in this case - the influence of psychoanalysis. As a psychiatrist trained in psychoanalysis, he has three important influences in his life: art, psychoanalysis and psychiatry. Of course, at the time of creation, the artist does not worry about these things. Thus, the series Psychoplasticology, as well as the series Metamorphosis and its sculptures, bring condensed beings - condensation is an unconscious process, just like dreams - an image in a dream is a condensation of several elements. Art also functions as a condenser - but what does art condense? It condenses not only images, but also questions, inquiries, research and concerns.
And so the work arise, an Other reconstructed.
Marina Abramovick, a Yugoslav performer, wrote in his Manifesto on the Artist's Life: "The more the artist goes into the interior, the more universal his art will become."
