About Project Space The Phoenix Gallery Project Space has been established to showcase guest artists alongside members of the Phoenix Gallery. Acceptance to our new Project Space will give artists the occasion to share their work with our members. There is a onetime fee of $1500.00 for one exhibition and includes 17 running feet of the gallery (4 walls, largest is 7'w x 8'h). This fee is payable at the time of acceptance and is non-refundable.
Accepted artists will have the benefits of a full time Director, inclusion in the gallery’s website for the duration of their exhibition, as well as the gallery’s social media outreach program. The Gallery’s opening reception will be held concurrently with the featured member artist in the main gallery. The guest artist will be able to mail exhibition invitation cards to their prospective audiences. The accepted artist will receive 100% of all sales.
Project Space Submission
The Phoenix Gallery is interested in proposals for exhibitions of artistic merit with cultural, social or environmental relevance. They may be the work of one individual artist or a group project. All media including installations are welcome.
The Project Space is approximately 12' x 20' with a 10' high ceiling. Exhibition related programs, lectures, panels, etc. that exhibitors might wish to present are welcome and the Phoenix Gallery will work with exhibitors in the organization and promotion of such events.
Accepted artists will be responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery as well as the installation and deinstallation of his or her exhibition. Applications for the Phoenix Gallery Project Space is ongoing until all the above dates are filled. An individual artist should submit a summary of their proposed exhibition with website or 5 jpegs of your latest work, resume and artist statement to info@phoenix-gallery.com Include your name, address, phone number and which dates you would prefer to exhibit your work. Submissions for a group show should include a proposal by the curator of the exhibition, relevant images and resumes of the artists and the curator. Please include any proposals for related programs.
The Gallery is staffed Tuesday through Saturday and does not take a commission on Project Space sales.
